How do you locate a travel agency that can give you good service at a price that will not break your budget? An accreditation by a cruise line association is worthless and it shouldn’t be utilized to measure your decision to use the travel agency. Any agency can acquire this type of accreditation if they are able to pay the fee of the association and are licensed to transact business.
A travel agency that has a State Travel Agency License is a good thing. It means that you are working with a legitimate agency that can provide you with service that is secure. Be sure to ask if licensing is required in the agency’s state and ask to look at their registration. If you have chosen to work with a travel agency that is outside of the state where your business resides and they do not have the proper license, this may mean that you working with a poor travel agency.

When you locate a travel agency that you believe with meet the travel needs of your business and the price fits your budget see if you are compatible with the travel agent. If the personalities do not seem to mesh well, continue your search for a travel agency.
