Travelling by Car with Children

Can you sit still in the same position even if you are in your car? Then why would you force a child to do this? If your baby is awake, get him or her out of the car and ride him or her a bit. If the baby can already walk, you can enjoy having your feet thawed out together, doing some physical exercise (running, jumping, etc.). If the baby is sleeping, do not wake him or her up! You can relax near the car to be able to watch him or her carefully. Before starting again, check if the safety belts are attached and well closed.
Installing a Baby in a Car
It is proved that the special car seat (which is approved) is the best of all safety systems both from the medical point of view and in case of accidents. A nacelle – cradle, properly placed and tied with safety belts, well anchored, is providing security, but mostly the best comfort for the infant (it is indispensable for long roads).
A Nacelle – cradle
For a long trip by car for an infant, it is better to choose a nacelle – cradle. In fact, the position of a particular car seat is not very good especially for a baby (it presses his or her vertebrae). The car nacelle-cradle is therefore the best for the baby lies on his or her back and can sleep comfortably. It must be fixed behind the car, along the seat and provided with safety belts. The child installed in the nacelle-cradle, without being provided with protection belts is a child in danger. In case of car accident or shock, the child will be thrown out together with the nacelle-cradle.
If the child begins to cry during the trip by car, stop and take him or her in your arms. Do not set off until the baby does not calm down and after he or she is installed again, safely and comfortably in his or her car cradle.
Special Seats for a Car
For the smaller babies, fix the safety belts in 5 points (2 at the level of the shoulders, 2 to at the level of the waist and 1 between the legs.
The Car Seat for the Newborn Baby
This car seat is designed for children weighing less than 9 kg. He must necessarily set on the back seat (on the front ranks is indicated only if you have airbags). It must be horizontal, so that the head and the back of the child are well supported. Of course, it will be fixed on the seat with the safety belt. The child cannot sit down on his or her own and even if they knew, make sure it is safe.
It should be installed in an adjustable chair, set with its back to the road. (For children weighing more than 9 kg.)
