In the nearby Tampa Bay area, enjoy Busch Gardens. Nowhere else is the plant life as lush or the animal life as diverse.
Across to the other coast but still not far away is the Ron Jon Surf Shop. It’s no doubt a store where you can find all types of water sports equipment and apparel. However, it’s also almost a museum of surfing.
Not far from Ron Jon’s is the space center. Even if there’s no launch planned during your timeframe, they have a great space museum with some amazing space related items on display.
Back in Orlando; don’t miss the tour of Universal Studios. It’s a real film production facility but it’s also a destination because of its many rides and attractions. Many famous adventure movies and fun cartoons, such as Jaws, Shrek and Spider-man have been made into realistic re-enactments.
As you might imagine, the Orlando area is loaded with hotels, motels and campgrounds. The variety is huge and covers every taste and every budget as well.
